Lab 47 is Silverway’s filmmaking innovation banner, exploring new approaches to production that allow ambitious screen stories to be realised with greater creative freedom, speed and efficiency. Through experimental productions and practical research, Lab 47 tests emerging filmmaking workflows across development, production and post production.

This production focused model enables Silverway to prototype new techniques, reduce traditional barriers to filmmaking and apply what we learn directly to our screen projects. Lab 47 serves as a testing ground for the future of independent production, combining creative problem solving with emerging technology to discover new ways of bringing stories to the screen.
